Asociación Nacional de Guardaparques de Costa Rica Siglo XXI (ANAGUA) / Costa Rican Ranger Federation Century XXI.
Since 1993, he has worked as a volunteer park ranger and conservation officer for SINAC. He began his formal career at the Barra del Colorado Wildlife Refuge and later moved to Tortuguero National Park. In 2003, he became a Control and Protection Agent in the Tortuguero Conservation Area, dealing with conflicts with hunters and loggers. Later, he led the Wildlife Office for 11 years and participated in conservation groups for various species.
In 2014, he moved to Environmental Education and Local Management, working as an instructor at the National Police Academy. In 2019, he took on the role of Regional Coordinator of Investigations. Currently, he is the president of the National Association of Park Rangers of Costa Rica, Conflict Secretary of SITRAMINAE (UNION), member of the Labor Relations Board of the Ministry of Environment and Energy (Costa Rica) and the Latinamerican Ranger Federation.
