Jonathan has spent the last four years working in Zambia supporting rangers and communities living and working in and around some of the most important protected areas in Africa. Whilst in Zambia, Jon worked to ensure rangers were represented at the highest level of government, ensuring all the rangers under his care had access to proper training, equipment and life insurance.
Prior to this, Jonathan worked for two years in London as a financial consultant delivering complex change projects for large European and US institutions. Jon completed his master’s in international relations and international development whilst in the British Army, where he served as an officer in the Household Cavalry for eight years. During this time Jon had the opportunity to serve overseas, working with host nation partners in the Middle East, Central and Southeast Asia.
Jon was a member of the Game Rangers Association of Africa whilst in Zambia, he currently lives in the UK with his wife and two young kids.
